Union's Old West community heritage is alive at the annual Eastern Oregon Livestock
Show, held each year during the first full week in June since 1908. The stock
show and rodeo is the oldest west of the Mississippi and is one of longest running
national points rodeos in the state of Oregon, with something for everyone
looking for a taste of classic western tradition:

Parade with 100+ entries snaking more than a mile through the city

Parimutuel Horse Racing at the Eastern Oregon Livestock Show PRCA Rodeo features
Quarter Horse racing and is among the top 15% of the nation's rodeos for added
purse.
